I’m Usman Sheikh. My work has moved through architecture, construction, technology, business development, sales, marketing, design and physical craft. Rather than treating those chapters as separate careers, I use them together.
A Career Built by Following Problems, Not Job Titles.
My professional foundation is architecture: learning how to take a complex brief, coordinate competing requirements and turn an idea into something that can be delivered. That discipline led me into project leadership, construction and the practical realities of making design work beyond the drawing board.
From there, my path widened. I moved into sales and business development, where I learned how businesses acquire customers, how people make buying decisions and why a strong product is not enough without clear positioning and execution.
Technology became a natural extension of that thinking. Websites, CRM systems, ERP platforms, applications and automation are all tools for solving operational and commercial problems. I work with specialist development teams to turn those tools into solutions that fit the business rather than forcing the business to fit the software.
Alongside the digital and commercial work, I have continued designing and making physical things — interiors, furniture, woodworking and resin pieces. It keeps my thinking practical. There is a difference between an idea that looks good and something that genuinely works once it meets the real world.

The common thread is problem-solving. I like understanding how things work, finding where they do not work and bringing the right disciplines together to improve them.
